Japan and New Zealand’s passports are jointly ranked number one on the list of the world’s most prestigious passports, according to the Passport Index website for 2020. With their passports, Japanese citizens can travel to 82 countries without a visa and obtain a visa upon arrival in 36 other countries.
In this Ranking, Turkey’s passport ranks 56th in the world and second in the Middle East. With a Turkish passport, you can travel to 40 countries without a visa; Also, with a Turkish passport, you can get a visa upon arrival in 37 countries.
According to the Index Passport website, the Iraqi passport is also at the bottom of the table.
The main criterion for compiling this list is the number of countries to which the holder of any visa-free passport can travel.
