Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca announced that no money will be received from citizens for the Corona vaccine.
“The free vaccine scheme will only apply to vaccines purchased from China, and citizens will have to pay for it if they want to use other authorized vaccines,” Koca said.
“People in the high-risk group should not worry,” he said. The government will do its best to deliver the vaccine to them.
The Turkish health minister added: “10 million doses of Chinese krona vaccine have been available for a long time to reach Turkey.” And this figure is expected to reach 50 million doses for the global vaccine.
Koca also said that doctors and people on the front lines of the fight against Corona are given priority over the vaccine.
