Antalya, which is one of the most important tourist centers in the world with its warm weather, beaches, natural beauties, and historical and cultural context, is also considered by the number of foreigners living there.
According to the Turkish Statistics Center, the population of Antalya, which was 2,511,700 in 2019, increased by 1.5% last year to 2,548,308.
The province, which previously hosted an average of 15 million foreign tourists a year before the outbreak of the coronavirus, is one of the cities most foreigners choose to live in. also Tourists who come to Antalya for their holidays choose this province to live in.
Thus, 94,294 foreigners live in Antalya from 90 countries, including Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Afghanistan, Indonesia, the United States, Japan, and Malaysia.
The Russians, who consider Antalya their “second home”, make up the largest foreign population in the province, with 18,905 people.
Kazakhstan with 11,537, Germany with 9,615, Iran with 6,703, and Iraq with 6,201 are in the next ranks of the list of foreign residents of Antalya.
